Environmental Policy

The Llandyssil Community Charitable Trust aims to promote high environmental standards both internally and externally, with trustees, all volunteers, all users of its facilities, contractors and partners within the voluntary, public and private sectors.

The Trustees understand that activities and running of the Llandyssil Old School Hall have an impact on the local and global environment and are committed to prevention of pollution while conducting activities,

The organisation aims to promote conservation of resources by:

  • raising environmental awareness of its environmental policy with
    all users,
  • using sustainable resources and increasing the use of recycled and
    recyclable material
  • recycling its own waste wherever possible
  • decreasing the use of resources such as water and energy where
    practicable
  • continual environmental improvement of its operations, processes and
    activities.

This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated as necessary to ensure that it complies with all current legislation.
